The University of Maryland Baltimore is home to internationally recognized interdisciplinary and interprofessional research and education programs and centers in the field of geriatrics and gerontology.

The University’s seven professional schools:  Dentistry, Graduate, Law, Medicine (Department Epidemiology & Preventive Medicine and The Department of  Medicine), Nursing, Pharmacy and Social Work each provide clinical and research training opportunities in geriatrics and gerontology.
